College might be a fun time to meet new friends, learn new things in life, and make the most out of your youth before you get into the real thing which is adulting. As boring as the latter sounds, that’s the reality of life, which is why we need to spend our time wisely.

For sure, college is more about gimmicks as it’s also about the majors and thesis we need to overcome to get a degree. With all these on board, it’s easy to say that we can get too overwhelmed with it. The result? We get stressed up.

But that’s not much of a problem because here, we’ll be showing you some of the best ways to have a fun and stress-free college life.

Don’t let peer pressure creep in.

Peer pressure is normal, but don’t let it limit you or hinder you from doing what you want. You might feel compelled to do something or wear something just because it’s what your circle of friends wants or does. We are individual beings and we have the right to do what we want. We’re not anymore kids who just go with the flow and think mindlessly about doing stupid things.

Take things one at a time.

Schoolwork piles up in college. And whether we like it or not, this is what we’re going to face. Don’t let it overpower your senses. Breath deeply, compose yourself and do things one by one. Don’t be rattled into forcing yourself to rush everything and do all your stuff simultaneously as this won’t do you any good.

Set a schedule for everything.

Plan everything out, be it your daily routine, meal plan, class time, and whatever you can think of. You need to be organized. And stick to your schedule as much as possible. It might seem like a hassle at first, but you’ll realize that it sets everything in place. This lets you think clearly, thus making you more productive.

Choose the right circle of friends.

The birds with the same feather flock together. It might be an age-old saying, but it sure is still very accurate in this modern time. Choose your friends wisely and avoid those whom you think would be a bad influence to you.

You want to be with the people whom you share similar interests with and those who have goals and aspirations in life. Stay away from douchebags who want nothing but pure fun. Life isn’t a playground.

Sooner or later, you’re going to graduate from college and you’ll face a whole new world. And you’re on your own.
